Description:
The SMPMOD.LDM DFB laser module is packaged in an
industry-standard 14-pin butterfly package. The
integrated thermoelectric cooler and thermistor are
used to temperature stabilize and tune the laser to
the desired wavelength.
Reference
Cell:
Gas-filled photodiode reference cell acts as a
back-facet monitor and can be used by control
circuitry to wavelength lock and power monitor the
laser diode.
Temperature
Control:
Integrated TEC provides heating and cooling of the
laser chip from +10° to +70°C. An NTC
thermistor is mounted close to the laser chip to
accurately monitor laser temperature.
