The progressive UK semi-conductor specialist, Semelab, has now been awarded by DSCC (Defence Supply Centre Columbus) full Qualified Manufactured Listing (QML) approval for its wide range of Linear Integrated Circuit products. Having built and supplied these products for very many years as QPL approved devices, the move to full QML approval is seen as a natural progression for the Company in meeting the expectations of its many customers. Speaking recently of the QML award, Cliff Robins, Semelab's Sales and Marketing Director said, "The Company is delighted at achieving full QML status, giving us the ability to enhance and rapidly expand our existing product range. The Company pioneered the use of hermetic surface mount packages for Hi-Rel applications and we will be further extending the range to include new low drop out regulators". He continued - "Semelab is committed however, to support the long term needs of the Military and Aerospace market. Having the benefit of all essential processes in-house - including wafer fabrication - also gives us the flexibility to meet demand for the more traditional metal case hermetic packages, thereby ensuring continuity of supply on these vital products to our customers, now and in the future."
